D V Sridhar: Basically a Mechanical Engineer and a Post Graduate from IIT Madras. A study of ‘Post Graduate Diploma on Yoga’ at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram(KYM) in the year 1989 brought him in contact with his Guru Sri T K V Desikachari. On his teacher’s instruction gave up job as Production Manager to become full time Yoga teacher. In KYM, besides being a Teacher and Senior Consultant, he served as The Director of Department of Yoga studies. He has travelled widely to different countries teaching Yoga to yoga teachers.
He is member of the committee formed by the Dept.of Ayus, Government of India to regularize Yoga teachers in India.
His commitment and focus is on Cikitsa, to work on Yoga Therapy
