The major focus of work at Yogaraksanam is on THERAPY – to use different tools of Yoga to help people and haul them out of difficult situations.
Each student will be met individually by our senior consultant who has the experience in dealing with different ailments.
After understanding the situation a programme is designed and taught to the student to alleviate the person.
A combination of Asana-s, Pranayama, Chanting, Meditation, Counselling, Visualisation etc. are used – a combination which will help the student.
All the relevant factors such as the age, health status, flexibility, strength, energy level, job, lifestyle, previous exposure to yoga/exercise, etc will be taken in to consideration before finalising the course.
We don’t have a predetermined standard course- every course is unique and student centric. Asana-s and Pranayama are modified suitably to ensure the desired effect on the student.
A neat course sheet with drawings is presented to the student. The teacher motivates and encourages the student to practice at home.
Typically a student is met after a week for a feedback and to evaluate the progress. Based on this feed back changes are made to ensure progress.
